If you’ve been the victim of a violent crime, you may be entitled to financial assistance to offset financial losses and help with recovery. The Crime Victim Assistance Program helps victims, immediate family members, and some witnesses to help with the effects of violent crime.

Court Services Online is British Columbia’s electronic court registry. This interactive page allows you to e-search civil and criminal court documents, e-file your documents, use the filing assistant to fill out forms, and view daily court lists. You can also view tutorials and demonstrations.

Need to file court documents or forms, request your divorce certificate, or pay a traffic ticket? To do this in person, you’ll need to visit a court registry. Registries are in 44 of BC’s 45 staffed court locations.

Court orders issued in a civil proceeding can only be executed by court bailiffs who have a contract with the Ministry of Justice. Common examples of these court orders are a writ of possession, a writ of seizure and sale and an order of seizure and sale.
